Does anything leave my machine?+
No. All processing, storage and inference run locally — no cloud APIs, no sync, no telemetry. Even the map basemap is bundled inside the app.
Will it move or change my files?+
Never. Tessura is non-destructive — it scans folders in place and stores only paths and derived metadata. Your originals are untouched.
What hardware do I need?+
A recent Mac or PC with 16GB+ RAM. An NVIDIA GPU with 8GB+ VRAM is strongly recommended for the heavier models, but a CPU-only mode covers basic operations.
How large a library can it handle?+
Libraries of 1,000,000+ images are supported, with virtual scrolling that keeps the gallery smooth even at tens of thousands of on-screen thumbnails.
What does the beta cost?+
The beta is free. The core product will remain free forever; paid Plus, Pro and Enterprise tiers add advanced capabilities after launch.
